Perform complex secretarial functions; provide for backup at all levels as needed; relieve professional staff of a wide variety of tasks. Transcribe dictation for the drafting of various legal documents, general correspondence, and related materials. Maintain calendars; schedule and coordinate appointments; as well as make necessary travel arrangements and meeting confirmations. Receive calls and greet visitors, take and relay messages, respond to requests for information; provide information or direct callers/visitors to appropriate individual. Maintain and create files or record keeping systems. Sort, label, file and retrieve documents and various materials as necessary. Edit written material for accuracy, format, and arrange material.
